Components of the Bureau’s Functions
The Bureau shall be responsible for the following:
Studying legislation referred to it by the competent authorities for publication in the Official Gazette, and proposing legal, linguistic, and technical amendments to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Basic Law and relevant legislation, without altering the substance or intended purpose of the legislation. This shall be done in consultation with the concerned and relevant authorities, in preparation for publication.
Preparing and producing regular and special issues of the Official Gazette, in both print and electronic formats, and publishing them in accordance with the provisions of this Decree-Law.
Preparing, developing, and publishing electronic references related to Palestinian legislation and making them accessible to the public.
Issues of the Official Gazette shall be distributed free of charge to official state institutions.
The subscription fees for the Official Gazette for entities other than those mentioned in paragraph (1) of this Article, as well as sale prices and collection mechanisms, shall be determined by a decision of the Minister of Finance.
