Constitutions lie on the pyramid of legislation in the legal system of any country to determine the legal foundations upon which the rest of the system is built, outline the features of the political system in the country, and guarantee rights and freedoms therein.

To facilitate researchers’ access to these constitutions, the Bureau worked to compile the constitutions of Arab countries and make them available on the website.
